It started as an after-school programming side project for kids at the Urbana Free Library and eventually turned into 6 years of summer camps and a series of NSF grants based on informal learning and science simulation!
My sister interned with Kay Wahlgren back in the 1990's to learn how to do paper cutting artwork. I learned how to do it from her and figured out how to digitize the process to expedite it considerably with an electronic cutter or laser. Here are some examples of our collaborative work.
